About GLACR.Earth

The Global Alliance for Climate Resilience (GLACR, reads Glacier) is a local-to-global initiative to drive real-world climate adaptation and positive change — starting in the CAMCA (Central Asia, Mongolia, the Caucasus, Afghanistan) region, Japan and expanding globally.

At the heart of GLACR is the U-CARE? Campaign. U-CARE = Ulaanbaatar Climate Action Resolution, signed on June 17-20, 2025 by 500+ scientists, teachers, students, environmentalists, community activists and citizens, and business leaders. It is an inter-regional five-pillar Roadmap for climate resilience and adaptation. It’s initial aim is to gain the support of at least 1 million people across the CAMCA and Asia-Pacific region and beyond by June 17, 2027.
